    Hello

I downloaded the sega rally demo recentley and was dissapointed with it. I remember seeing one of the original ps3 racing games with amazing graphics yet this wasn't up to scratch. However I do want to buy a racing game which I reckon I will play online alot. So what is the best ps3 racing game in terms of both graphics and multiplayer?

    Thanks.

Go for burnout paradise ultimate which includes a lot of the download content. amazing graphics, blazing fast, tight controls, and one of the best online setups of any game period...i mean to go online you just press right on the d-pad!!!!!!! no longwinded menus to go through

For me I would say Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, it can be had pretty cheap and offers fantastic value for money. There is a challenging single player career with tons of great vehicles and tracks to try. And in MHO the graphics are second to none. Online is fantastic and great blast especially if you can get a room full of friends, and also has an excellent (and fair) ranking system.

I'd also agree with Lonely_Warrior about Burnout, great game.

    Midnight club LA
    Burnout Paradise
    Motorstorm pacific rift

I will check those out. Is there a new Need for Speed game coming out as well? I seem to remember hearing about it, if not: how does the current Need for Speed game fair with the ones above?

Not played Motorstorm 2 so can't compare with that one but compared to Burnout & Midnight Club all NFS games that are currently available on the PS3 are gash. NFS Undercover is the best of them but still comes nowhere near Burnout or MC:LA in my opinion. I suppose it might be worth playing if you can get it cheap. NFS Pro-street is possibly the worst racing game I have ever played & NFS Carbon is only slightly better

The game your talking about is MotorStorm and because it was a launch title can be had for under a tenner now. MotorStorm 2 has since been released and you can't go wrong with any of the other that have been mentioned.

I'd say go for MotorStorm 2 and Burnout Paradise, both totaly different, both brilliant.
