    Hi folks,

I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully played any miniDVD's (i.e. burnt DVD material onto a CD-R) in their DVD Player as opposed to just their DVD-ROM drive.
I have a lot of short films that I've cut and would like to compile them on CD-R's at optimum quality. I'm not ready to upgrade to a DVD writer so wondered what the best solution would be.
I want to get a new DVD player and would be interested to know if there are any out there that will play miniDVD's.
Also, is there is any picture quality difference between miniDVD's and S-VCD's since they both use MPEG2?
