I'm after a basic DVD player. It's for video only and must have the following attributes.

    Must be cheap.
    Slimline.
Prefer PAL prog but no essential
2 RGB scarts, 1 svideo DIN and 1 coax out.
Plays absolutely anything you chuck at it (VCD,SVCD, DVD-R, maybe Div-X?)
Compatibillity is what I'm after. It needs to be able to handle a wide variety of DVDR's and CDR's.
Not fussed on brand as long as it's good quality.

    Any ideas?

2 Scarts limits you, so I'd say a Pioneer 565?

    So its a 565 then!
£150 these days. You can get cheaper players with similar features, but you'll loose out on build & picture quality.
