    Hi all
I read an interview in Empire mag months ago with Ridley Scott (genius) talking about Black Hawk Down. In this interview he mentions that he is working on a final, definitive remastered SE of Blade Runner in DTS etc, which will be minus the crappy narration and have several new scenes inserted or re-cut. It is expected to be a 2 disc special with new commentaries and may even feature the excellent C4 documentary that Mark Kermode put together late last year. Cool.

Anyone out there have any news on when it might hit the streets? Personally I can't wait.

    cheers

There has been lots of discussion about the Bladerunner DVD on here recently, if you do a search dr_mabuse you will find a link to the Ridley Scott Interview.
As far as I know there has not been a release date set yet.
    Can't wait myself!!

    Hi,

    This is a better quote:

"I've seen things, you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire, off the shore of Orion. I watched C-beams glisten in the dark at the Tannhauser Gate. All those... moments, will be lost in time, like... tears... in rain. [pause] Time to die." RUTGER HAUER

Sad (as in unhappy), but very poignant! :(

Yeah, thought about that one, but figured it would be far too easy.
Also considered the "Spider Web" quote, FYI.

Thanks for the heads up on searching through to the Ridley Scott (genius) interview - off now to read it!
