    Hi everybody,

My parents are looking to upgrade their current hi-fi system after being very impressed with a demo of the Bose Acoustimass 3 speaker system.

Due to space restrictions, the new hi-fi system must be a "mini" so I'm really here to find out from people if they have any recommendations for a mini hi-fi system that would compliment the Bose system without a huge expenditure.

The budget is around about £300. Now whether it is even feasible to get a system at this sort of price that will make the Bose system sound good, I'm not sure - but I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris Nightingale.

    Hi there Dragon,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately they don't know what piece of kit it was but I get the impression is was a fairly costly system. As for what they are after well at a minimum, it must have a CD player and radio and as a bonus it would be nice if it had tape but apart from that as long as it's around the £300 ish mark.

    Thanks again,

    Chris Nightingale.

    Hi Dragon,

Wow thanks for all the help. That TEAC Ref 300 system looks pretty cool. I might be able to persuade them to up the budget. But you have certainly given me some good ideas now.

    Thanks again,

    Chris Nightingale.
