Oops forgot the fujitsu, I knew I would miss a major one.
I am really after general TV's, the 58 was pretty specialist.

Any problems? Only the known SkyHD 'flickering' issue which was fixed by a (warranty) call out firmware update earlier this week

How would you rate it? Superb

Would you buy another of the same brand? Yes, but they no longer make them. Let's see how Panasonic do..

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? No, although when I do (~3 years) I'll be going down the projector route

KRP 500A, a year old in april. Stunning, only posterisation of faces with poor quality signal and slight image softness let this tv down. I would love to say i'd buy another but we all know what's happened there ! Prob end up with a top pana commercial screen or newest 3d plasma if they're decent, in a few more years.

How would you rate it? It has been an excellent set. I use external digital box with SD upscaled to 1080i and its much sharper and colors more vibrant.

Would you buy another of the same brand? Yes

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Yes, when 3D becomes more of a reality than just a released concept

Model - Pioneer LX5090

How old is it - 5 Months

Any problems - Suffers quite badly with Panel Buzz.

How would you rate it - Excellent. I bought the 5090 for usage as a gaming display (360,PS3,PC) and despite having higher input lag figures than the Panny G10/G15. The 5090/6090 & KRP's IR resistance make the 9G Kuro's ideal for my gaming habits. regular 10hrs+ gaming sessions and zero IR issues on the 5090. The 9G Kuro's are excellent Gaming PDP's. If the 9G Pio's weren't produced I would still be using LCD as a gaming display.

Would you buy another of the same brand - Not possible unfortunately

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future - No

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Yes. P50X10 or used LX6090 depending on new room layout.

Any problems? No Faults but I'm not as impressed with this TV as most people seem to be :(

How would you rate it? Very good on SDTV. Good (but not great) on HDTV.

Would you buy another of the same brand? If Pioneer ever make big TVs again I'll certainly include them on a shortlist.

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Yes. When I get my next house.

Once we go more mainstream HDTV there will (hopefully) be much better/bigger TVs available than the current crop of plasmas :)

I get that on my C10, seems to happen during the night aswell on standby, is this a 'feature'?

Model Panasonic TH-42PA20

How old is it? 7 Years !!

Any problems? New power supply about 4 years ago, otherwise perfect :suicide:

How would you rate it? I view from 14ft (starts to look smaller every day!), and the SD quality is still superb (SKY via Scart) - DVD is Sony All-in-one via component and excellent also

Would you buy another of the same brand? Definately (however I have just replaced an excellent Bosch dishwasher with another of similar quality and it's pants :thumbsdow, so brand loyalty isn't always best)

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Yes - was looking to move up to HD, Blu Ray, seperates etc, and had my eye on the TX-P58V10, but will wait and see what replaces the big sets this year (liked the design of last years 'V' series - aparently they've made them more plain this year - shame)

Any problems? None what so ever. Great.
How would you rate it? 8/10. Only cause its not 1080p and contrast could be better, but great sharpness, motion resolution, perfect colours, Cable tv is great, overall picture is excellent.

Would you buy another of the same brand? Without a doubt.

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future?Yes, Full HD Pioneer Plasma

Pioneer KRP-500M

How old is it?
11 months.

Any problems?
BBC News logo is burnt into the screen, despite not really watching the channel that much (and never since discovering the burn-in, back in August). It hasn't really faded. Luckily it's not visible 99% of the time though.

How would you rate it?
Nowhere near as impressed by it as a lot of people here, and the screen burn has left a very bitter taste in the mouth. I don't think it's as sharp or as clean a picture as I used to get with my PW6 Panasonic. The colours and black levels are better, but I think SD looks far worse on it. Perhaps 50 inches is just too much to scale up to with our terrible-bitrate SD channels now.

Would you buy another?
Not possible, but even if I could I doubt it.

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
Once I see what the 50" Panasonic PF12 (or PF13? PF20?) panel is like, I may do so.

Any problems? None, IR is so minimal as to not be a problem at all

How would you rate it? Excellent when put in context of being one of the cheapest plasma screens money can buy. Fantastic picture quality with all sources, great design and packed with features. Black levels are the only minor weakness for me.

Would you buy another? Yes!

Do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Nope, this tv is gonna last a while :)
