Hi,

Got my Fuji S9600 back in february and I'm looking to get some filters.

I've identified getting a UV, CPL & ND as my first targets - but there's so many names I don't know which ones are the best to go for.

I can get Hoya, & Tiffen just within my approx £50 budget from Amazon/Amazon Market place or can get Hama well within.

But with there being so many knowledgable people on here wanted to get some thoughts before I hand my shopping list to the missus for my fathers day presents :smashin:

I would stick to Hoya really, very well made for the price. Don't bother with the Pro range as there's very little in it as far as I can tell.

Ive always gone for Hoya UV filters as standard with every new lens.

As for CPL ive got another Hoya coming and for an ND i got the ND110 B+W version as it comes highly recomended as a screw in filter.

There are other creative filter systems available that use a holder and you slide in the filters. Cokin is the one on a budget, but if you want the decent stuff go for Lee filters, but they run into the £££'s

HTH

Another vote for Hoya.:smashin:. Pro range?.. nah!
