I am trying to decide what TV to buy for my new house. I will be connecting a HDMI DVD Player and eventually Sky HD and a xbox 360. After reading forums and reviews I think I have narrowed it down to 3. 2 Plasma's and 1 LCD. Anymore advice you can offer to help me decision would be much appreciated,

    Pioneer PDP-436XDE
    Panasonic TH42PV500CAB
    Sony KDLV40A12 (LCD)

I realise that the Sony is the smallest but the resolution impressed me.

    What do you think?

Get a demo - they are all available to see on the high st (although not best setup).

However, if you can be steered away from a "TV"... I would recommend Panasonic 42PHD8 which can be fed directly from your Sky, XBox and DVD. You will just need to have a seperate sound system for audio. Picture will be much better...

What do you use for sound? If you have a surround system and you are using sky for watching tv then you should go for a panel only display such as the panasonic PHD8.

I'm going to reccomend a Panasonic PHD8 too ;) Just to emphasise the point of how good it is! The PV500 is supposed to be very good, but can be 'buggy'. Also the PHD8 is said to give a better picture.
