I had my mind made up that I was going to buy Kef Q7 with the Q9c. But after today I heard my mates Kef Reference one-two and was well impressed. So I am now thinking of changing my mind.

I can get the Q7's for £599.99 or the Reference one-two for £699.99.

Do you think the £100 will be well spent?

The 1.2's are by far the better speaker but will require an amplifier capable of high current delivery.

    Regards

Definately the one-two. I have heard the old range in stereo and they were superb (although somewhat large). Dont forget to factor in that you will also have to get the matching centre and these amy not be easily available.

My amp is a Denon 3803. So I hope it is good enough for the one-two?

I am not certain blakeyboy but I very much doubt that it will do them justice.

The 3803 will be OKAY driving the Reference Kefs in stereo, but will stuggle a hell of a lot in surround.

The Q7s, by contrast, are some of the easiest speakers around to drive, and would match your amp well.
