Mine would have to be Champagne cocktails.

    Try the following.

Double measure of Brandy poured over 1 teaspoon of sugar, topped up with Champagne (Cava would be just as good) in a medium Tumbler - lethal but lovely!

    Any other recommendations for tomorrow?:p

It has got to be snowball :D

For me, an Armagnac, or Islay malt will do fine.
Belgian beers (Leffe, Duvel etc), and red wine
    also dry Amontillado sherry

Sainsbury do a very good Normandy cider that actually tastes of apples (shock horror!)

    Hi there

Well I am going to start with a few pints of John Smiths in the pub with mates.

Then back to mums and dads, were I will be drinking wine, I will be bringing along 3 bottles off Pinto Noir, and my brother in law usually bring a few bottles of nice wine, with my mum stock should be ok for wine.

After dinner coffe and the brandy comes out.

After that we watch some TV in the front room and usually some Bailys or the likes comes out.

Night time the cards usually come out with either a beer, wine or more coffe and Brandy. By this stage woman usually go to bed all thats left is Brother in law, dad and myslef.

Thing is have to do the same Boxing day with my farther in law, so by Wednesday don't usually fancy another drink

    Cheers Holo:smashin: :smashin:

    Guinness Punch:
    1 Bottles of Guinness
1 Large Carton of Vanilla Hagen Daz
    2 Cans of Vanilla Nourishment
    1 Can of Condensed Milk

You should end up with roughly 1.5L its very sweet and creamy will get you sick before you get drunk.

This year I will be enjoying a bottle of the finest Welsh single malt, Penderyn and an 18yr old Talisker, along with a few bottles of Quelque Chose (A cherry beer which is warmed). I also had the privilege of having a bottle of Thomas Hardy Ale from 1993 as a pre-Christmas drink. Wonderful.

had a slight change from my normal pattern this year......

namely ended up with a good few glasses of a nice very dry sherry that my sis bought over, then a couple bottles of wine and champagne with dinner, followed by 80% of the 1 litre bottle of bombay blue sapphire gin i got as a krimbo pressie...heh.....

dont go for fancy stuff over xmas......nice and simple, thats how it should be ;)

Fullers London Pride - in the bottle. Every year, it's a must have with Xmas dinner. It was the first beer I drank after being cleared to do so, after a serious illness. I drank it on Xmas day, 1997. :)

Other than that Red Wine. Paul Masson.
