The Affordable Valve Company - they are still trying to flog the same old chestnut I see.
Came across a similar auction 3.5 years ago and found this while searching google at the time.
Apparently they make some decent valve amps but their Customer service is pants and that's being polite

This auction is very confusing and unclear what is being bidded on.
As you can see, some brave soul asked what is being bidded for and got a rambling and confusing response. Apparently the auction is for a AS-6iENGLAND KT88 valve / tube amplifier AND a pair of POWERFUL ACCURATE speakers, yet there's no picture of a valve amp, only speakers and crossovers. Little or no description of the speakers other than they are 8841 loudspeaker which when searched for brings nothing back. Maybe its their own creation.

Whats making me laugh is all through that reply you see British this, England that and everywhere else is rubbish, yet it is signed by a Lim Aik Leong :confused:o_O

So are you going to put in a bid? :D

Well, you'd think anyone selling HIFI for £120K can surely afford a proof reader or marketing guru! I wouldn't go near any Ebay item with a tenner if it was presented like that.

Why go to the hassle of taking a picture of some of your components, just to cover it with a trade secret sign. Hmmmm, fish anyone, or rat perhpas, either way Id say it stinks.
