I recorded Pick Of The Pops yesterday and listed to it this morning, they played a record by the Ritchie Family with the Best Disco In Town, which consisted of a montage of disco tune/songs I got, I’ll Be There - Four Tops, I Love Music – O’Jays, Soul Train - MFSB, but could not put a name to the next tune on the record does any one know? It sounded a bit like Barry White’s Love Theme but was not it.

Thanks Taz, but I could not find anything, I did a bit of a search on Google but the most I can find is that the first 2 songs are mentioned (I mentioned) and that’s it.

"The best disco in town" was the first medley of disco history, in 1976. It included samples of "I love music", "Fly Robin Fly", "That's the way(I like it)","Lady Bump" and "Love to love you baby"

:D ;) Cheeres Taz,I do think it was part of Fly Robin Fly origanaly recorded by Silver Convention and a hit in Nov 75.
I know they make a mistake as they mention Motown and mention I Love Music which was Philly then go onto the Philly sound. The also play Brazil (one of there own hits).

The last track they played before they cut it of was Brazil.
By the way I’m was and still not keen on those medley record, just that not knowing that name of that tune was bugging me (I did like that tune though).
