What is the difference between a cheap component cable, and a expensive one?

    I already have a rather cheap component cable for my wii and ps2, but for my original xbox I have an expensive one. Now to get a good cable I've found, you should look for these qualities. Gold plated connectors, 99.99% oxygen free copper and triple shielding. Do this qualities make a difference in picture quality to one which doesn't have them?

    Thanks paulktreg, I suppose it basically said that there is only small differences between them, not worth forking out an extra hundred pounds lol.
