Question What is the best solution for browsing and streaming media to an android tablet?

Have just purchased a couple of Galaxy Tab Es - mostly will be used for watching video on by the kids. Was wondering what is the current 'best practice' for local streaming. I have a load of ripped blu rays on a Qnap NAS in mp4 format. The NAS supports all the usual stuff for media. Is there a 'best' app for the tablet which will let them easily browse the available movies with cover art? Can it be locked down to particular folders or genres? Will the same app easily let them switch between the NAS and locally stored content?

Thanks for any tips!
