what is the best rear projection set

    still looking to buy a rear projection set between 40 to 44 inch the only thing that matters is the picture quality and of course the price preferably under two grand

    The Sony KP44 PX2 of coarse.

    I have to agree with Shaun... the PX2 is a superb TV!

    Yep..just got mine,and it is superb....I've had Pioneer and Toshiba RP sets before,but the px2 is way better.

    No, you want to get a Tosh 42" RP. MUCH better pic and you don't see the whole of your living room reflected in the screen!

    Nope, I have had a tosh RP tv. Yes, you dont get a reflection in the screen but the Sonys picture really is better. I thought the Tosh was a great set till I saw the PX".

    I looked closely at the Toshibas,as my last set was one.Not only do i think the Sony has a better picture ,the whole set looks better.It has a lovely silver cabinet,as opposed to the greys of some others..I could not get on with the fabric on the lower speaker section of the Toshibas.
