i currently have a pioneer 737 and i connected to a philips 36 inch 9525 tv in the lounge which cannot accept a progressive scan signal so the current player is connected via rgb scart i also have a region 1 sdi modded denon 1600 player in the cinema room running though the holo3dgraph card in my htpc which is fantastic, i am looking for a new player to replace the 737 and have a budget of £1000 which player offers best value bearing in mind dvd audio or cd playback is not essential and free form the dreaded Chroma bug which all pioneers seem to suffer from (as far as i am aware).

    cheers

I have a Sony 735. This is an antique collectable DVD player.

You are welcome to give me £1000 for it:D

Again Denon 3800 works well for me too. You might find it hard to find anyone stocking them now though.
