I'm just after other people's views on what the consider the best DTS soundtrack.

    My votes are for:

    Armageddon (Japanese R2)
    Sleepy Hollow (French R2)
    The Haunting (R1)

Saving Private Ryan DTS is a hard one to beat - especially if you're looking for a good subwoofer workout.

Saving Private Ryan and The Fast and the Furious are my two favourite soundtracks out of the 30-40 DTS discs in my collection.I understand that The Haunting is quite amazing but i never bothered with it because i didn't really enjoy the film!

    Agreed:D

Considering this is 10 years old, one would expect major improvents in newer releases, but this is still my favourite:)

Casper, but unfortunatly only available on Laserdisc. And only because it's not available in Dolby Digital on any format. I'm sure it would sound so much better.

Why has no one mentioned 'Gladiator'? What with all the gory sound effects and the musical score, just brilliant!

This is the best OTT dts track, with bass down to 15hz and more, and rear effects to die for. Just a pity that the Film sucks.

    Other top titles are
    Saving Private Ryan
    Moulin Rouge
    Titan AE
    Jurassic Park
    Fast and The Furious
    Seven
    Armageddon (R2 Jap)
Fifth Element (R2 German or R1 superbit)
    T2 UE R1
    Jaws R1
    The Mummy UE R1
    The Mummy Returns R4
And theres more but my brain just stopped working.

I seem to remember you got that as a freebie Phil;) Film is total toilet.

Am I the only one here who prefers Dolby Digital to DTS? Sounds much more natural to me. I don't have a single disc in my collection that has a DTS only soundtrack, and, given the choice, will always choose the DD version.
