    Hi guys,

soory about this. But what exactly is RGB? I have a JVC 100Hz TV and never found out what exactly this is. Is it another AV socket at the back? Is it a place to connect the DVD player to?

    thanks guys...

RGB is a type of video signal that only goes through a scart plug.

It's very good quality and you should use it for DVD unless you have
component inputs on your TV, as that is the best you can get.

The AV-28X37 does not have component inputs. It has RGB capability on External 1 and External 2 (two of the three SCART sockets on the rear). To use RGB, make sure you use a fully wired SCART cable and set the output of your DVD player to RGB. The TV should automatically detect that it is receiving an RGB signal and switch to it.

    Thanks for the Info GarryB.
Im currently using a normal black color scart lead. Just some cheapy one. But i can see the picture quite fine. My DVD player is the all in one with a VCR alwell. I'll have a look tonight to see if there is an optoin for RGB in the DVD player mode.
BTW: Is my scart lead ok? How do i know if it's fully wired?

You can usually tell by looking at the plug and seeing if it has all the pins present.

Also the cable should be fairly thick, if it's really thin it won't be fully wired.

    No.

    Composite - Worst

    Component - Best

    Ironically they sound the same.
