Took the back off my Tosh 32wd98b recently to find that before I could completely remove it, I had to disconnect a black/white wire connected to a large cylindrical shaped plastic case attached to the inside roof of the rear cover. Anybody know what it is or what it does?

Blimmy, I would never have guessed that in a million years. Cheers Taz. There are two integral central speakers in the set and I just thought one of them passed off for a subwoofer. Shows you how nieve I am. Makes perfect sense now.

    Thanks Taz
