Hi can anyone help?

I currently have a panny 6 plasma connected to my pio ax3 amp and pio 717 dvd.
Question:

I have just purchased a sim2 pj which, naturally, will be at the back of the room and is prog scan compatible. My dvd and plasma are at the front of the room about 17 foot away.So my 717 dvd does not have component only s-vhs and rgb scart.Would I be better off with a long run of s-vhs OR component via a jstech rgb component scart connector to the pj??
OR buying a cheapish prog scan dvd player say SONY 730,siting this under the pj connected via component with a long run digital coaxial cable to my amp????

Cheers,

Phil:hiya:

Component video travels much better over longer distances such as this.

That and the RGB to Component conversion will give you a better picture also.

Stick with one player in the system though. Probbaly best to wait a bit and save and get a good player you will be very happy with in the long term.
