What hobbies and interests have you got?

Just wondering what hobbies and interests people have other than AV stuff. It would be interesting to know. Do you manage to find much time for them or does family and work take over? Do you have any unusual interests?:D How much have you spent on your hobby?
I think the hobbies and interests tell a lot about a particular person.

Making music - very little time on that these days due to work.

During the summer I played a lot of tennis down at the tennis club.

Now it's all about running, couple of miles around the country lanes here with mp3 player on :smashin:

Also sit about on MSN/MySpace quite a lot being "social" :D

(resists the urge to comment about p***ing in AV equipment :D)

I've just started to play golf again, I used to play a lot when I was younger so I know how to swing a club, but now I remember how unforgiving a sport it is, like to go to the driving range a couple of nights a week and play a round at weekends..

I also like to play poker, not so much online but against friends on a weekend or in the local casino, I regularly play 12 hour sessions on a weekend. Also love my Xbox 360, I dont play as much as I would like to, only when the telly is free . I'm also getting into gardening, bought my first house 2 years ago and having never had a garden before I'm really into it, totally landscaped the whole area myself...

Nothing really that interesting - mini veg plot, more the growing than eating as i don't like most vegetables - xbox 360 when i get the chance - snuff taking i guess very much like wine tasting as there are 100's of different flavoured snuffs to try, i also like to blend and mix them - i like to go out for a ride on my bicycle as well.
Been looking at remote controlled gear for the last couple of days, i very much have the urge to buy an eletric helicopter or plane/glider as well as a flycam and do some aerial photography/videos.

Not sure if it can be classed as a hobby, but I enjoy taking my son to his football training twice a week, and match on Saturdays.

For the last number of yrs, I've bought at least 1 cd a month, so if listening to music is a hobby then I'd include that.

My main hobby sadly has fallen by the way-side. I used to buy, restore and sell VW Beetle's (mostly for myself). I've still got one, but it's been garaged for a couple of yrs now.......once I finish with my av purchases, that will be my next project

Mainly golf but I don't get time to play as much as I'd like to because I have 2 kids who occupy most of my time. :)
They were fed up with me hogging their kite whenever we flew it in the park so they bought me a proper one of my own for my birthday. This is the type of standard I'm trying to get to (with limited success).

YouTube - Beach freestyle

So what sort of jump was it?
Fan descender or something. It works on the basis on your weight, if you are really light then you float to the bottom. Most of the little kids did that day. But if you are fairly heavy, you plummet to the bottom. Once you land you only feel like you jumped off a 4-5ft wall.

Must show restraint.
Must not take the **** again.
