"What HiFi" reviews of Cyrus, Arcam and Naim

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, the new issue of What HiFi reviews the Cyrus AV8, Naim AV2/NAP150 and Arcam AV8/P7. They give the Cyrus four stars but state that this is because of a lack of "features". The Naim and Arcam kit both get five stars.

Possibly the most revealing aspect of the reviews are what they suggest as alternatives. For the Cyrus they suggest Primare and Roksan Caspian. For the Naim, Myryad or... something else I can't remember. (Rats, sometimes I feel like that guy in "Memento". It was only 18 hours ago I read it, too. *sigh* Anyone else remember?) For the Arcam, their suggested alternatives are the Lexicon MC-12(!) or Meridian 568.

In case you haven't noticed - but who cares what WHF says?
Though I am sure Arcam will be pleased with the results. ;)

No offense to you and surely no pun towards Arcam intended, but do not rely on reviews alone or on how many stars some equipment got. Listen to it and be your own judge.
