I am looking for a pair of headphones suitable for DJing and using with a phone/ipod, I have seen the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's and have thought about getting them. Are there any others better for under £200?

Help is very much appreciated!

The HD 25 is one of Senns best offerings IMO. A fave of DJs worldwide. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

Not ideal, as they do respond to some amping, and a better source. But ipods will do a decent job.

I reckon the Beyerdynamic DT250 would do you well too. I've got a pair of these, and they are among the best headphones I've ever had (and I have had some pretty expensive headphones). Excellent value for the performance they offer.

I'd have suggested the DT250 as well, as I have a pair and they're pretty much my go to. Only thing is I think they go better with a better source and a bit of amping. They don't need much power, but a good portable amp makes a difference. Not sure if they offer enough isolation for DJ use though.
