In browsing the forums, it's hard not to get caught within the hype of you need this/that and the other to get the maximum from your setup and arguably, I'm sure these measures do make a difference, but for you, what has been the most worthwhile purchase/change that you just couldn't do without or completely transformed your listening experience.

I'm talking things like extra expensive cables, acoustic panels, antimode, etc etc

What made the biggest difference and how did it change your experience, please share, let me know if I've missed anything from the poll

Moving to an acoustic transparent screen with the speakers hidden behind it.

Admittedly I did that at the same time as changing other stuff, including the speakers. But I think it's the one change I would find it incredible hard to go back from in future.

My best and most expensive audio accessory that I've purchased is a detached house.
