I've had my mind set on getting a HD ready Plasma! However due to knowledge I have recently gained  I have decided that this might not be the best route to go down! I've got £1500 to spend and i'm wondering which model to get? I'm after a 42". What defines a better picture? Is it the higher the pixels the better the picture? What pixels should I be looking for? Cheers and look forward to hearing from you? One more thing before i go! Has anyone recently gone into the likes of comet, dixon's ect and said i have so much money do me a good deal? And they actually have? :lease:

And as ever the problem will be finding somewhere to compare the potential panels, properly set up. Depending on where you are, there are specialist plasma dealers who will show you what can be done and won't rip you off. Forget the washing machine / cooker shifters unless there is really no alternative without a 2 hour drive.
