I have tickets for Radiohead and the Australian Pink Floyd.

I'm waiting for Mr Plant to give a Led Zep tour the green light..... :lease:
According to Planet Rock, the venues and hotels are booked, the crew are on standby, all they need is the nod from Percy. I don't know if I believe that or not, but I can hope.....

radiohead is the only band i have tickets for so far this year. my umpteenth time seeing them, but as long as the play the old favorites it'll be a good show. in say that i remember they two gigs on glasgow green before the follow up to ok computer was released, and people were obviously expecting a similar follow up, but they played mostly new stuff for the whole of the first night and i remember overhearing someone on the way home saying it was one of the worst gigs they'd ever been to. i was at the front row for both shows, and i remember looking round to see a pretty subdued audience behind me. the front row mostly knew all the songs from downloads, back when the band didn't mind fansites posting mp3's (i remember one time thom announced a new song and said it would be on the internet the next day so everyone else could hear it). on the second night thom seemed in a party mood as the set changed dramatically to feature the old stuff far more prominently and kept the new stuff to nearer the end. it made it well worth going to both shows as it felt like you would have been missing out if you only went one of the nights and you had to be there both nights to get the full experience. i thought that was even better than being front row at the small venue/club tour

So far I've got tickets for The Feeling, Aussie Floyd, Mark Knopfler, Bruce and Santana
Hoping there is some LZ action but won't be surprised if Percy doesn't want to.
Looking forward to seeing the Boss as he is one of the few big artists I've never seen before.

Last Riga gig was Andy Fairweather Low which was great as it was a gig I was not expecting much of and it ended up far better than expected.

The more I go to small and medium sized venues the more I dislike anything bigger than something like Brixton Academy.

Wanted to see Plant but then found it was at Wembly Arena.

Really hope Zep don't tour again unless they do new material. Is it only me getting a bit fed up with every other band under the sun reforming and touring again. Ticket prices seem to be going through the roof and I just don't get the feeling there is much integrity in it. Smells more like "running out of cash cause I squandered it all and need a pension" Sorry rant over...........

So far, the annual Mike Peters weekend in Llandudno a week next Friday. Includes an acoustic gig on the Friday and The Alarm MM electric gig on the Saturday. Normally a good 5 hours plus of live music and for £40, its excellent.

Must seem weird having 1200 people go to Llandudno in the middle of winter :D

Then in March, the Levellers at Wolverhampton Civic Hall and Manchester Apollo for two of their three 20th Anniversary gigs.

Off to see Winger in a local club that holds about 180 people in Feb. Then Iron Maiden in March in a much larger venue.

No other decent tours are coming through Toronto yet.

Hope to see Seasick Steve in Dublin next month.

And it would make my year if AC/DC played anywhere in Ireland/UK in 2008 and I could get a ticket for it.

Seasick Steve is amazing. You won't regret it. He tells a good story as well playing some blinding blues.
Saw him at the Scala in London last year and going back for more at the Astoria in a few weeks. Can't wait

Got some half decent photos last time and hoping for some more at the Astoria which is a better venue as well.
