XVID, DivX or MKV or the most popular formats (legally or illegally!) the LG TV's don't play back Microsofts WMVHD though...

Hi guys!
I've received today my new 26LH2000, already installed.
Obviously USB it's unlocked :p

Ok with MP3, Ok with jpg, Ok with avi... but no way on one MKV (the only one I've right now).
It seems to be compatible according the rules specified above... but no way.
The tv find the file, try to open it.. then it shows a corrupted picture (50% deformed frame 50% randomo color lines) for a second.. then the tv close the file and come back to file list.

:(

it has 12 references frames... this is unsually high and does not play with high amounts of reference frames... I have 100+ MKV's and only 1 didnt play because of similiar circumstances... same with Profiles.. if its higher than 5 or something (cant remember exactly what) - originally I had trouble playing 3 MKV's but after upgrading to 3.40 (now on 3.55) 2 of them played and now 1 wont which is same problem as yours

yeah that rings a bell, the movie needs to be 5 ref frames or lower, most of my profile 4.1 files work fine & Ive tested quite a few :smashin:
