can somebody please explain the merits of the 3 ways of feeding a component signal into a pw6
1 via the vga socket (very cheap)
    2 via a bnc board
3 via an rca board ( twice the price of bnc)

i plan on only having one input to a plasma but wich is the best ?

There is no more merit in 1 or another. I use VGA port frequently on the PW6. So frequently I'm sure Panasonic noticed the drop in video board sales and took it off the PW7

This applies to RGB signals, not the use of the port.

    Perhaps my question was misleading
from which of the 3 ways of inputing my component source (from upconverting yammy amp) will I get the best picture, I will only have sky+ via jstech converter and prog scan dvd fed into it, with sky watched 80% of the time.

I do appologise if this is taking a while to sink in with me, but I do whant to get it right and not make a newbie mistake

As MAW has already said if your Inputting ‘Component’ YUV Interlaced or Progressive video into a PWD6 via HD15, 3BNC or 3RCA you’ll need some very sharp eyesight to see any difference between the three inputs.

There are hundreds of folk on these Forums who use an AV Receiver (up-converting or not) with YUV switching into the HD15 socket with excellent results - use the cash you save on an Input board and get decent quality YUV cables.

    Best regards

    Joe

Or an Onkyo 602, which has an independent stereo zone in addition to all the 750 features. At the same kind of cost too.
