Sorry, gotta be the Star Wars trilogy...obvious, I know, but they are my most wanted.
behind that is stuff like the Indy Trilogy and the BTTF Trilogy.

Wish I could come up with more origonal titles but I cant...sorry.

    Hi,

I seem to recall starting a similar thread a while back now.... ;-)

    My wish list would be:
    1) Betty Blue: Version Longue
    2) The "Three Colours" Trilogy (Polish drama by Krzysztof Kieslowski), and finally,
    3) Cinema Paradiso: the long version

    No contest really:

    All the Star Wars films.
Digitally remastered with DD 5.1 or DTS would rock big time.

(in fact, I may well dig out the old VHSs for old times sake)

    Tee -
I've got the PAL Laserdisc of 'back to the future' and even though the pictures a little grainy and the sound is plain vanilla pro-logic, it makes superb watching and sounds ace , particularly the race to the clock tower at the end of the film - roll-on the dvd!

    Mark,

Another Goonies fan!, rare breed these days. It must be a special edition with the giant octopus. I can't wait, I hear that we may get our prayers answered by the summer.

Got to be my fave top 3 films :
    Star Wars
    Dances with Wolves (exended version)
    Schindler's List.
Schindler's is not the kind of film you can watch over and over - or skip to a chapter for a quick treat. But it's an important piece of work which should be in anyone's collection to be shown to people who haven't seen it.

star wars would be nice, but so would a special edition, boyh versions, of blade-runner. and rumble-fish. and how about a director's cut of the godfather trilogy? i'd sell a kidney for that.

    The Sunshine Boys.

Matthau & Burns in one of, if not the, best comedy double acts on film.

The Quiet Man On R2. I had to send my R1 version back about a year ago due to lip synch probs. (Disc not player) I've been nagged by the missus ever since. [IMG]
