Well Ive tried most of the demos and really found myself at home with Sony's Screen Blast 3. Its straight foreward to use and has some really nice effects.

But for some reason every one else seems to use either Adobe Premiere or Ulead Video Studio.

So whats wrong with Screen Blast? Does it have dodgy encoders???

I'd say that, if you are comfortable using the program and are able to get out of it what you want, why worry about other people's preferences?

I personally use Pinnacle Studio 9. I tried 'moving up' to Pinnacle Edition which is far superior in what you can do, but, because of the different method of editing (non linear as opposed to linear), I just couldn't get on with it and decided that my needs weren't great enough to justify the expense and learning curve.
