Have a look at the 'Which DVD Recorder?' link in my signature for basic DVD recorder buying advice. The popular models that fall within the specs of what you want are:
    - Panasonic EH50 (80GB HDD)
    - Toshiba RDXS34 (160GB HDD)
    - Sony RDR510 (80GB HDD)
    - Pioneer 720 (160GB HDD)

All have pros and cons - do a search of the forum for advice/further info on each.

That is not a good premise for buying a Toshiba recorder. Did you do a search like Rasczak suggested?

Any further advice will depend on what you want to do with the recorder, and giving details of the TV. Some advice would probably be better given from the 'Video Components' section of the forum.
