Hi,new member on here so be gentle...:)

I,ve just purchased a new 42"Full HD Plasma television and was looking to know the best Recorder to get around £200/300.
I would like to get a Panasonic,to match the TV and I would want to tape one channel while watching another-I have been reveiwing them all but my head is sore with all the different models..I particularly like this model..
Panasonic DMREX77EBK

I would like to benefit from the Viera system that I have with this TV.

Many Thanks....

Welcome to the forum.

The EX77 is a long extinct model.
If you are still finding outlets that sell it I suggest you purchase elsewhere.

The modern equivalent and altogether slicker machine is the EX79.

You wont go far wrong with that machine.

Hi Gavtech,
Thanks for the info-just had a look at this EX79 model and like the rest of Panasonic-they are not equipped with the twin tuner which,as you know, you can tape only one channel.

Would there be any othe makes that would be compatible with the Viera Link that I have on the TV?..or does it have to be Panasonic??

Cheers+Many Thanks..
