I will be buying a dvd re-writer this week but dont know much about them. I am not too fussed about backing up my films though my brother sometimes records his family when on holiday or someones birthday for example and he might want to put it on dvd rather than video tape at times.
I mostly want a dvd re-writer to patch winning eleven 8 (Pro Evouloution 4) and I think I will go for either of these 2. which would you advise me to buy.

I wouldn't bother with the Sony DRU-700A it's just a very expensive LiteOn 832s clone.
I also bought the NEC 2510a. I'm pleased with it and it's good value for money. Have a look at www.cdfreaks.com forums for advice/confusion!
