Howdy! I just ordered a Panasonic DMR-EH50 (it hasn't arrived yet) and I'm wondering what DVD-R (brand name or cheapie) and speed you get the best results with (besides Panny's brand)? So far, I'm looking at Verbatim and Imation (I've always gotten good results with Imation CDs on the computer at least).

Also, I was planning on storing the DVDs in paper sleeves and filing them in a box. I'm wondering if DVDs require more protective handling than CDs. I can't wait to get rid of my bulky VHS tapes and am looking forward to streamline storage, but maybe I'm getting abit too radical here?

    Cheers! :hiya:

Can vouch for SVP, (their website is also know as blankdiscshop.co.uk)

Have used them about 10 times, each time flawless service. Also sign up for their newsletter because they let you know when they're doing cheap shipping (like 99p) on certain week ends, which is very valuable.
