what does it mean

    im a bit of a newbe at home cinema at the mo but im learning bit by bit mostly thanks to this forum. one of the things that confuses me is (running speakers in) what does this mean ??? . i have just bought a home cinema speaker set from comet and i would like if i need to run them in

    what it basically means is that you have to play them at a fairly low volume for a while so they can get used to being played it is kind of like haveing 15000 miles on the clock of your car before it is completly running at its best or hitting a new cricket bat with a ball before you use it it is getting ther speakers ready for proper use
    some one will give a better definition soon!!!
