just wondered if you can actually tell if a bulb is knackered by looking at it

i am having a dilema over it is worth getting a new bulb (approx £360) or just buy a new projector - i am worried if I buy a bulb and then still have to pay for £200-300 repair on pj

    can anyone help :lease:

A blown bulb is the one smiling, having a cigarette.
