What do you WANT/NEED in a live video mixer?

    I'm doing some research to find what users require for a live video mixing solution that's being developed.

    What do you WANT or NEED in a live video mixer?

    Firewire, component and SDI outs would be nice (3 of each, for video out, preview out and record out) as well as traditional bnc & y/c.

    A mpeg2 output is going to be pretty much essential for dvb use.
    XLR and optical audio outs would be good as well.

    A built in vectorscope and wavefrom monitor would be nice.
