    Hello,

I've just been away for a couple of days and have realised that a pattern keeps repeating itself everytime I'm alone with my PSP.
I get very bored with the games I've got quite quickly (apart from maybe LocoRoco) and use the PSP mainly to watch episodes of Futurama I've converted. So basically it's like a mini telly.

    Anyone else find this?

I know what you mean m8 - I bought mine for going into hospital and I ended up watching loads of Family Guy episodes on it instead of playing GTA Liberty City! lol

I now use it for only one thing - LOCO ROCO! Got it cheap in Asda a few weeks ago and man how addictive is it?!?! It's such a shame more games developers don't concentrate on what makes a great game - GAMEPLAY!

Very tempted by Tekken as well, but I know I'd only play it for a few days and then go back to watching films/telly etc.

Having completed GTA a few months ago, one interesting things to do is tool yourself up to the gills, loads of armour, and park some flashy cars at all the safe houses, and safe your places (one for each safehouse).

Then, when you want 20min of fun, you can jump straight into the location of your choice, shoot a few cops, and spend the rest of the time trying to evade capture, whilst agrivating the cops as much as possible.

Get all the stars up (shooting a few police helicopters out of the sky does this) and you get Tanks after you. Jump in a Firetruck, and see how long you can stay alive !

Bottom line is, I can still invent lots of things to do with a completed game such as GTA.

(Oh, and have already pre-ordered the new GTA thats out in October  )

The Main usage is still for Football manager, just a wind down in the garden after work, or on the sofa if the good lady is watching yet another house-buying programme.

It's 2nd Use is as a mp3 streaming device to the Xbox 360, if i can't be bothered to walk upstairs to turn the pc to use that as the music repository.

Then a music player, then a movie player for huge 7 hour traffic jams or a 13 hour plane flight which i'm due to do twice, later this year.

I use mine for games mainly (football manager + determined to complete TOCA RD 2) then it is used for watching episodes of the Simpsons and listening to music.

I don't use the photo function much I must be honest.

I've just started the fourth set of flagman missions - AAA's in all previous missions. Don't have my PSP to hand at the moment, I'll check out that track and get back to you.

DevHook on a 1.50 machine. Outrun from UMD at 222 Mhz is unbearable due to the framerate issues. Try it on a homebrew friendly machine from the Memory Stick at 333 Mhz and see how the game should be played :smashin:

I have to agree here, but it really begs the question WHY ?? I know its all to do with battery life, but the game played at 222mhz it awful, and at 333mhz it becomes silky smooth....

Are there any other games that benifit from running at 333 ? as I never really saw the point until i played Outrun with such a difference....

You can't yet. Give it a couple of months and someone might of made a downgrader. Sorry but at the moment you can downgrade from 2.6 or below only.

I only use my PSP for games really, have watched the odd film on it though and I got Spiderman 2 free with it which is pretty cool. I still can't get over the fact it's a bit more powerful then the PS2 but in your hand!!! PSP2 will be stupidly powerful, as long as they sort out the battery issue.

Oh yes Pro Evo 5 at 333mhz is just great, it slows down at corners otherwise. The other issue is that loading times are greatly reduced when running from the memory stick.
