very, very nice., wheres it from?
now that is not cheap i bet
looks homemade? very nice design and carpentry skills though.
Got it from Audio Destination. 3 shelf unit £749. The wood is Padauk and Beech. They gave me the impression that it's available in a variety of woods and can be up to 4 shelves. The 4 shelf versions a bit dearer (don't know how much though)
I Fell in love with it..
Thats a **** load of money for 3 shelve's lol
Quite agree, but I've searched high and low for a performance rack that was made totally from solid wood. I didn't want glass under any circumstances. So hey ho....
Does it have a make or do you think they're one of custom designs made by some local craftsman? Is there any steel in the construction?
The only steel is in the spikes. Which are not your usual spikes, being the eternal fiddler that I am, I took them apart, they have Sorbothane inserts in the legs and under the shelves! The thing just soaks up vibration! And what they don't get the wood construction takes care of.
Oh and the company name is 'Hold the Music'. Couldn't find a website for them....
It looks very nice and its good to see that it soaks up vibrations etc, especially at that price.
thanks knightshade, I'm strongly considering ripping off the design and adapting it into a large AV stand for my TV, as it looks really good
Seem if I can get some local carpenter to have a crack at it.
I like it
But I don't €1,000/£749 like it
