This is what i am ready to buy, but I want to know your opinions...

    - TV SONY KV-32 FX 68
    - DVD HARMAN-KARDON DVD 25
    - MARANTZ SR-5300 A/V RECEIVER

    - SPEAKERS:

    - FRONT: MORDAUNT-SHORT 902
    - CENTRE: MORDAUNT-SHORT 905C
    - REAR: MORDAUNT-SHORT 903S
    - SUBW: MORDAUNT-SHORT 907W

    - A second option for the speakers would be the new KEFF KHT 2005.2...

I don't want to go wrong, specially with the speakers...

    Please, help me to decide...

    Thanks in advance !!!

The DVD25 is good (I would say that i've got one!), but only really worth it if you have Component in on the TV, don't know about the Sony. Everyone also seems to rave about the Pioneer DVD players!

It's prog scan that the HK scores on - I don't think the Sony can deal with it (and on a 32 inch CRT it has questionable performance gains). I haven't seen the HK in action so I can't comment on it, jhjerpe is right to recommend the pioneer tho - the 656 is great.

I wasn't too impressed by the Marantz 5300, but I understand that RS are doing them at silly money so this may be colouring your choice. The Pioneer 811 / Yamaha 630 are better bets for Movies but poor with music (I've combined my Pioneer with a stereo amp to overcome this).

My advice is to settle on the amp then choose the speakers to go with it. Good luck
