What db level do you have your sub set at?
I know VE suggests all speakers to be set at 75db, but I'm told many have the sub hot a few dbs to like 78, 79.

It`s all down to personal taste, iv`e seen suggestions about db settings some as low as 69db. I have mine set to 75db tried it higher/ lower, the higher setting to much bass and the lower setting not enough. Try and set it so the movie sounds realistic and doesn`t drown the rest of the soundtrack out. What you don`t want is the rumble of a V8 engine having the effect of a major earthquake. I think sometimes a little less is better than a little more. But as i said "It`s all down to personal taste". If it sounds right to you it is.

78dB for my set up, always sounds better a few extra dB, sounds more natural and I am not a bass nut.
