I was thinking of purchasing the below digital box.

Freesat+ HD PVR SMT-S7800

Thing is I was looking at the manual and it basically states that there is no input for a normal television ariel, it has two satilite connectors and that seems to be it.

The person I was buying for does not allow for satilites, but the flat has a digital coaxial connection in the wall. How do I use this product to be able to use the digital tv serivces it provides.

I wanted the Freesat HD included incase recipient moves out of current location and they then have the facility to get a dish.

Thanks for any advice.

It's a satellite only device and requires to be connected to a dish. Chances are the wall socket is connected to a conventional aerial so that will not work with your box.

Then the place to post is the Freesat sub-forum.
The same people make Freeview machines so if that's what you want look them up instead.
