    Hi,

I'm new member of this forum, though I have been a lurker for quite a while.

I need to connect up my AV equipment with the best type of leads, (whilst keeping costs low):

    Toshiba 32" ZP38
    Panasonic DVD-S75
    Sony PS2
Old Sanyo VCR (to be replaced soon)
    Panasonic Sky Digibox

Can anyone recommend what leads I need and where to buy them from (online) please?

    Cheers,

    Troy

PS The Tosh' set has 1 x component (guess need to use this with DVD?), 3 x SCART (of which one is S-Video).

Sorry mate, best leads and low cost don't go together in my experience.

    TaffyBoyo,

    Thanks for the recommendations.

    Caleb,

Appreciate comment and fully understand. What I need are leads which are matched for my system, i.e. cheap would be a waste of time, but I don't want to spend more then required to get the best out of my setup.

    All,

    Any othe recommendations?

    Thanks everyone,

    Troy

On the basis of the best, but cheap, is a little vague (neither do you mention length) I suggest you check out TV Cables. They have quite a range of differing makes and price points, of which any will serve you well.

    As for the connections. Yes to component for the DVD, and assuming SCARTS 1 & 2 are RGB, I would use;

    Digibox - SCART 1
    PS2 - SCART 2
    VCR - SCART 3

Thanks for your reply. I think 1 metre should be OK, as all of the kit is sat below the TV on its shelves. The spec's for the Toshiba TV inputs are:

    Input - 2 x RGB, A/V 21-pin Scart.
    Inpout/Output - 1 x A/V, S-Video, Selectable output, 21-pin Scart.
    Inpout - Y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr, Phono jacks.

I haven't put quoted a budget as I don't know what is reasonable expenditure for my setup. My budget is quite flexible anyway.

    Cheers,

    Troy
