What causes this (pic)

    Can someone please shed some light on this problem :lease:
    While wathing NTL my picture is of center, this is noticeable when subtitles come on screen please see link for samle picture,

    My setup is
    Philips :32pw9545/05
    NTL new samsung box

    I have selected wide screen option on my NTL set top box and also on my T.V. Double checked the settings and tried auto select on my t.v. picture setting please help this is driving me nuts :mad:

    Is the TV maybe in a cinema mode rather than widescreen? That image looks wider than 16:9 so the TV might have several widescreen modes. Just a guess as I've never used a Phillips TV.

    TVHEAD,

    I assume you're using a scart connection, but is it RGB or composite?

    The reason I ask is because, due to internal timing errors, some tv's display RGB slightly displaced to the right.

    (Although you seem to have taken it to extremes! :laugh: )

    Bob, It is in wide screen mode as is the box.

    Tight Git, I am using scart dont know what type but these leads worked fine last week with the pace box, My wife and I tried to moves the T.V. to the right but the picture move with it, we have been around the living room several times but cant seem to catch up with the picture :laugh: we got tired and give up on that. :blush:
    any suggestions Please.

    It's not the lead itself, but how you've set up the NTL box.

    (I haven't got one myself, but assume you can choose between RGB and composite.)

    Got you I have RGB selected inoptions on my ntl box.
