Ok people. Due to me spending my new car money on the cinema:D:rotfl: I have to buy a car with a little less than id originally planned. This is turning out to be difficult.

I currently drive an alfa 166 but am bored of it after a few months so fancy a change.

The question is what do i do?

The car has to look a lot more expensive than it is as i pitch for high value deals and cant drive the normal rep type cars and work expect it to be of a certain standard.

    Budget is max 3k.

At the moment my prefered choice is a 2.5v6 xtype jag with 57k on the clock for £2850

But i could get a s type for aout 2k or a clk

Obviously the less i spend the better as i change my car every 6 months through boredom and hate loosing money on them.

What should i do ? I cant do any work because all im thinking about is my new car and cinema my boss is gettin a little p+ssed.

A little bizarre really. Firstly what business is it of your work what you drive? The best £3k cars will be the usual rep mobiles. The Jag is only a Mondeo and you'd get a better Mondeo than a Jag for that cash. If you can get a Vauhall Signum I would go with that, you might even get a decent MG ZT.

i would go with the jag far better image than the ultra common (but good) ford, always came high in the JD power satisfaction surveys

couldn't pay me to drive a mg ...

thinking about it personally i would probably go for a lexus you can get a monstrous "CEO" looking LS for this money and the IS is a real nice car. With bulletproof build quality

p reg (chuck a private plate on it) 4.0 V8 with 68k miles on trader for 2800, that is alot of car.

I sell Oracle software and services so anything from £500 to £5 million.

Im saving up for a 911 so dont want to spend a lot.

Im even thinking of buying something really cheap to run like a smart car just to tide me over.

problem is this is the second car ive bought out of one paycheck and its getting frustrating. All my last cars have been a lot nicer than im looking at the moment and although id love a big engine big car maybee i should just wait till i get the one i really want.

    i hate this
