Hi all. I need some opinions on what is a sensible cable approach. I have a pair of monitor audio rx6 speakers connected to my pioneer lx83.
Currently using some fairly thick gauge copper speaker wire i aquired from my dad before i had these speakers and amp.
Now i have the option to bi-amp the speakers and was looking at the van damme cables. I like the blue over black as my impression was it was more hifi orientated. (please correct me if wrong)
Now i had almost decided to go for 2.5mm blue when i saw sone pists saying 4mm was better.... So the questions are

    Van damme blue or black?
    2mm or 4mm ?
    Is it worth bi-amping?
Are two 4mm blue cables to each speaker going to look overkill?

WAF is an issue but should be ok if a difference is noticeable over current setup!

    Thanks for the help

Many thanks mr incredible! Each speaker is about 3m from amp so 6m of that cable is very good vfm. Would i notice difference between the 2.5 and 4mm versions sonically do you think?

Hard to say, but 2.5mm should be fine and no different to the 4mm for 99% of domestic installs!
