What cable do I need to connect an ipod to the Aux in input in a BMW 5 series (2006)?

I just bought a BMW 5 Series. It has a Aux input which the car dealer told me can accept an Ipod. I have a Video Ipod. What kind of cable do I need to connect the ipod the car?

You can do two things:

• Have BMW fit you the official BMW Ipod connector, check the site here. Ignore that is the USA site, the compatibility list is the same and any UK main dealer will supply and fit one. It's about £120
  
• Or use a mini stereo audio cable like this.

I use the latter, just select Audio Aux from the entertainment menu and turn the volume up on the ipod. Simple and works great. A lot cheaper too! around £12
