What bulb is this

I think it's just an anomaly of a different manufacturer being slightly different. What is the appliance you are fitting into and have you got the instructions?

the old lamp is not a g4 the pins are wider apart than the g4 lamps you have in the packet..measure the pins tip to tip & post figure..i'd say it was more like a G6

Hi

Its for this MAGNETIC HALOGEN MACHINE LIGHT

However the transformer is knackered so I have bought a replacement 12v 6amp transformer as could not find a 24v at a sensible price.

The original bulb it 24v 25w. The pins are 6.5mm wide and 12mm long

Looking on the web for an equivalent 12v I seem to be able to get either a 20W or 35W. Would the 35W produce a lot more heat compared to the 24v 25W bulb
