Hi, some advice please. I am looking at changing my panny saxr-45 (good for movies not so good with music)
I have a Denon 2200 DVD and AE Evo surround package. I want some recommendations to get the best of both worlds - music and film. I had a Yamaha DSP-A5 before i which was great but not the best for music.
I would look to spend about £400-£500 ish...
    thanks

A secondhand Denon AVR-3803 would be a good place to start - and it would nicely complement your player visually. If you don't find a respected member selling one in the classifieds here put a WTB: ad up; failing that you might be able to find an ex-dem one about still for something in the four-hundreds. I don't see much else in that price range which can compete with it but others will no doubt have their own opinions.

Take a look at the 2105, which is apparantly based on much of the 2803 technology of last year. Alternatively the yammy rocks for films and music, mine is used 50/50 and i love it.
