Cd. Had the Vinyl. At release. Many moons ago. But sadly parted with a lot of my collection. Still have about 50 or so in the loft.
Another good one of his is "Live in Detroit" around 1999 It was the last live album with Bob Mayo who passed away shortly after. it is only out on CD

1979. Lovely. Another of those albums by a jazz tenor sax player that, for the most part, isn't really a jazz album.

2022. Our boy from Amersham made good in the USA. A familiar mix of groovy and thoughtful jazz instrumental tunes. The only barrier to my buying a copy is that I already have several of his albums, of which

from 2010 remains my favourite.

2020. Not hugely different from most jazz/funk/soul (mostly) instrumental albums by West Coast guitarists but this one has a bit more meat and beat than many of the rest and it's only £5.99 (incl. p&p) via amazon, so I've taken the plunge and ordered a copy. Fellow guitarists Blake Aaron and Chris Standring guest on a couple of tracks, as well as long term colleague Nils.

Special EFX (Chieli Minucci) ~ Twenty Twenty 2 (2022). Opens with an (instrumental) arrangement of the Allman Bros' In Memory of Elizabeth Reed from their 1970 album Idlewild South and a new one of one of my favourite tracks from his 1996 album Renaissance. Those aside, how he keeps coming up with so much new and interesting music after all these years is a marvel. One of my musical heroes. But, for all that, it's not (for me) sufficiently good from end to end to warrant paying £21.29 for a copy from the US.

Lateralus- Tool
Superb album this.
Outstanding musicianship throughout. I love the way they craft & build tracks.
Such a shame we couldn't make it to the O2 earlier in the year....

Not able to listen to the CD box set yet, but it's on its way to me. Guess what I'll be listening to tomorrow....... :D
